"Got a recorded call in my sister's name stating that they were the "Civil Investigations Unit" regarding a restraining order against her, and provided a claim/affidavit number. Saw on another site that this was a scam to get information and/or money from the named person. They also called my mother's house right around the same time the same day."

"Their phone is with held but they give a number in their message. I put number online and many have recieved the same calls from this Scam. The caller attempts to scare you into believing they have a court case agaisnt you. I know I have no chance of having any court cases agaisnt me did not call back they called my sister and told her they were my insurance Co. What can I do to stop this abuse?"
