"I WAS CONTACTED ON MY CELL PHONE FROM A NUMBER FROM ST. LOUIS , MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS 1-314-635-7671 TELLING ME I WAS GETTING A REFUND FROM OK TECH PAY FOR SERVICES RENDERED YEARS AGO. THEY ENDED UP SCAMMING ME OUT OF $39,400 THRU AN INTERNATIONAL WIRE TRANSFER.THEY HAD TOTAL CONTROL OF MY COMPUTER AND PRINTER AND SHOWED ME MY BANK ACCT WITH A ZERO BALANCE UNLESS I DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID. AFTER ALL WAS SAID AND DONE AND I REALIZED THAT MONEY WAS GONE, I RETURNED TO MY BANK AND TOLD THEM WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.THEY TRIED TO GET THE MONEY BACK , BUT COULDN'T. I CLOSED THAT ACCT IMMEDIATELY. THIS MONEY WAS TRANSFERRED TO A BANGKOK BANK AND I HAVE THE ACCT HOLDER NAME, ACCT NUMBER, SWIFT CODE AND ADDRESS. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS SCAMMING UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE. WHY HASN'T THE FBI BEEN CALLED IN TO ARREST ALL OF THEM, CONFISCATE THEIR COMPUTERS, SHUT THIS BUSINESS DOWN AND FIND OUT WHERE ALL THIS MONEY IS ACTUALLY GOING. I AM A 68YR OLD WIDOW ON A FIXED INCOME AND I WANT SOMETHING DONE TO GET THAT MONEY BACK."

"got taken by them in June 2017 and now get calls saying problems and they need access to resolve - I keep putting them off. NOW I find this site and am glad I have so I know what I already felt that I was scammed. Calls I get now are from a different number 855-442-2935 but the number that froze my computer was 844-311-1110"

"This Habib sounding dude called my grandfather, got the ransomware installed, and had previously scammed him of $500. He has called several times for "updates," saying he worked with Microsoft, then saying they work for "ITT," "ITC," ITC Info Tech," and so on.
Ask them about their privacy policy and if they tell you about their service instead of what they do with your information, tell Habib to piss off, and tell him TJ sent you.
If you or someone you know is tech-savvy, in your firewall there is a connection named "Get Help," which belongs to the site they use to connect. Right click on the rule, at the bottom of the pop up window it should say "Block Connection," click that and press apply. Now they shouldn't be able to connect."

I bought a pkg for 900.00 for 3 years, they assuring me that I would be protected from all viruses. They had access to my computer as they showed my how many times my computer was attempted to be hacked. Even though I was skeptical I went ahead with it. AFterwards, it continued to bother me, so I looked the company up namely OK Tech Play, which is the name they told me, and saw that it was a scam. I immediately called my bank and credit cards and hope that it can all be stopped. On the credit card the company name was different."
