"Answered a call from this number and it was an important sounding recording, which said "This call is for_____ (gave my estranged brother's name) This is notification that we have a juvenile intervention in progress..." etc. Then said, For more information call 976-gave three digits, gave four digits (a phone number.) In doing research after the call, I found out, via Answers.com, "These 976 numbers charge higher than normal rates, and are often used for surveys and phone sex lines." It also gave the option "press 1 to go to a live operator.""
