"Number has called me several times. I called it back and someone named Eric Williams answerd and said there was a judgment against me and I had until tomorrow morning to give him an account number or they will find me and garnish my wages and have me go to court. I asked what the judgment was for and it was for an old vehicle I had that was paid off. I asked for a call back number so I could look into it and call back. He gave me 260-547-2910 as a call back. After I called the original creditor and verified that it was paid in full and there was no judgment I called the number back and told him that it was paid in full and this was a scam. He got angry and said they will serve me Court papers tomorrow and hung up."

"Just left complaint. Called the company back; 410-216-0514. Was told the name of the company is : Chris Robinson & Associates. The woman asked if I was Dana, I said not & she said she'd take my # off the list. I tried to talk to her but she hung up. I DON'T LIKE BEING THREATENED OR SCAMMED!"

"I received a recording 2 day in a row saying I had 2 complaints against me. Gave me a case # but I didn't have a pen to write it down. Recording said I would be served with papers in person at my place of employment or at my home. Gave me a # to call: 509-620-9010. The recording had my name as "Dana". I called & was put on hold. Finally a person answered & they told me right off "no mam, not a warrant, those are a process server". When I told him I hadn't even talked to him I was immediately put on hold again. He finally came back & said I would be served by a Deputy Sheriff. Said it was not Wells Fargo, not a scam, etc. I let him know if someone came to my house, broke in, I will shoot to kill & if they call again, I will return the call & when a person answered they would get my duck whistle blown in their ear & they would have to seek immediate medical attention. He continued to threaten me. I hung up. Felt enough was said!"

A) they cannot threaten me like that on a recorded call, B) they cannot call work unless I give them permission and C) guess they will pay whatever bill it is....they have violated several points of debt collection laws."
