"The caller was extremely difficult to understand. Very insistent,to the point of rudeness. After I hung up the first time, they had the audacity to call back and ask WHY I HAD HUNG UP on them. They got a "supervisor" on the phone to try to continue the pitch. They were "calling from Windows" and needed me to enter some commands on my computer. When I said that I would contact Windows from my end, they kept telling me that they were calling from Windows and that it was not necessary for me to make the call from my end. They had a "license number" - these are definitely trying to scam someway. Hackers are everywhere."

"I have been told my computer had error and warnings and they needed me to make some changes. I asked them to call back in an hour or so -after I could check on the number they were calling from. It is a scam."

"I received a call that said he was from microsoft and said that I was the owner of the computer. First he asked for Ms. Jennifer. I said she wasn't in. He asked who I was. I gave a fake name. He said that he was from microsoft and that there was a virus on my computer. I immediately knew he was a scam person because he said "are you the owner of THE computer" - I should have asked "which" computer because we run multiple systems from our house. I told him he was a scammer and he said that I sound like a stupid girl. I would be surprised if ANY microsoft or windows call person would say I sound stupid."

"John said he was from windows and was receiving reports from my computer something was wrong said computer was registered to me and gave my name and address and a serial # for my computer. He was foreign and I could barely understand him. He kept insisting I go to the computer so he could help me. I told him I was busy and he would have to call back. Naturally I was wanting to check my serial #. No match, so be very aware this is a scam that could cost you your identity!"
