"I received a call from a 202-658-3418 number and they said there was a warrant out for my arrest. When I called back it says the line is discontinued yet I keep receiving multiple calls from this person."

"Called me, said his name was Officer Watson, then officer Sean Martin from the IRS. Saying that there is a warrant out for my arrest. When I called their BS. They hung up. I called back and they said they must have the wrong person. Total Scam"

"Got a call from them at 3:10pm today 2/22, robo-voice said it was IRS, at which point I smell a scam and hung up...."

"I had a call from this number claiming I was being investigated for filing fraudulent tax returns and I needed to contact them back immediately. When I contacted them back they asked for my phone number, name, and zip code. When I asked the woman (who did not speak English well) to slow down her speech, so I could understand her, she began to spout off a tax year, and tell me she needed my information to ensure she was talking with the right person. She then rattled off an address to which I replied I have never in my life lived there, she gave a second address, not correct for me either. She then said they had the "wrong person" , and when I tried to inquire where she was calling from again, she kept repeating, "Sorry we have the wrong person" and then hung up on me. She also gave a name (which I believe is fake), and an employee number of IRM231276."

"Received the call from an automated system telling me I was fraudently hiding things from my taxes. My wife called back and they answer with a badge number, he started to name me as the culprit but could not answer her questions concerning me."

"just got this SPAM auto voice mail telling me there was Fraudulent activity on my Tax Return and to call back the number immediately. I reported it on the IRS Fraud investigation website link. This is the second scam call like this I have received, the other was from a different number."
